I got this file folder games book because next year I am teaching 2nd grade for the first time and thought it would be good to have some games for them ready. I like the games that were in the book. I also have this same version for first grade. It will be a great start for the year and has great skills that all students will need to learn and review.
I'm disappointed with this book so far. I mainly bought it for the math games, and was disappointed that the number combinations cannot be changed. It's a set number of combinations, but you cannot make your own. Once you have 10 or so memorized, there is no use for the folder. This is coming from a homeschooling mom's perspective. It would have been nice to have had the ability to make our own combinations which would have made the game folder useful longer.
I got this book for Christmas and I am so pleased with it. The file folder games are easy to assemble, no coloring what so ever just some pasting after they are cut out. The pages are bright and colorful and I am very pleased with them!
This book is exactly what my SpEd students needed to help them with their skills. It is a great supplement to their learning!!
