It's a glossy page comic book which my children hate. We thought it was a chapter book with pictures according to the description and reviews. Disappointing. Not sure if they will even read it. Cancelled order for 2 and 3. Sad.
My 6 year old son loves Dark Island Trilogy. He spends hours reading it and analyzing the pictures and characters. I thought the cost was on the high side, considering our other Ninjago books, but once we received it, it was well worth the price -- especially for a hardbound book! We can't wait for Part 2 & 3!
