the comic arrived 24 hours after i ordered it (give or take a few hours) and i opened it immediately and was instantly captivated by the art and characters, the story was a sort of half-sequel to "sonic universe 2: 30 years later" and personally the villain also captivated me with his interesting style.
If you ever wanted to see Silver written well, check this comic out! The art for the most part is great, the action is amazing, and it's self-contained enough to be enjoyable. Be warned though, this trade is a semi-sequel to Sonic Universe 2: 30 Years Later, so I recommend you try reading that first before this or you might be a little confused.
This was the very first sonic comic I got, (along with Saga Series: 2) and it's still by far my favorite. Silver, being my favorite, was given a lot of character, though it made him seem like sonic in a way but I don't mind, and he was perfectly drawn. But like other reviews, I do think it's best to read 30 Years Later before this.I also liked how some old characters got into it, and seeing Lara su in it was a neat surprise, But, (spoiler) if you know who Lara su is, it'll kinda ruin the villain's identity.Off Panel and the Bonus were awesome, wish other characters were actually in it too, all the characters were drawn neatly, there was a rip on the top part of the cover when I got it though (most likely due to the fact it was used) and I love this sort a mystery going on in the background (talking about the traitor thing)! Been a fan of Sonic Universe for a while now, and the Silver Saga only adds another great story arc to the series, in which Silver the Hedgehog is re-introduced, and follows his quest to defeat an evil presence and restore Mobius to its rightful existence. If you're a fan of this series, this collection of issues is a must read!
The perfect comic for learning Silver's backstory and his journey to help the rebels! Definitely a great comic for any Silver fan!
