Fun read! Was a little confused by the "comic reader" with the number. I thought i was receiving a comic book but this is an actual picture book that reads like a graphic novel my son loved the story anyway.
My 4-year-old does not read yet but he like me to read stories to him and this is one of his new favorites, he asks me at least three times a day to read it to him. And the best part is that with it being comic book style he can "read" it himself in between by making up little stories to go along with the great pictures, which is great for his imagination. It's definitely a great starter for young readers and will probably get much use for a long time to come.
My son loves this book. He is in first grade. This is a book he can read successfully on his own, I already see his confidence growing. I have caught him a few times reading this book on his own and laughing to himself. If you have a young reader who likes superheroes (and Legos) this is a good choice.
Legos, superheros, what more could a 4 year old want! This was perfect for an intro to comic books series for my child. The pictures told a great story and when I was reading it with him, it was easy for him to follow frame to frame without me pointing to which box I was reading.
My boys and I love this 2nd Lego Superheroes comic reader. A good quality sequel, which you don't always find. The story is entertaining, written at the right level (early elementary age), and it's fun! What more can you say?
My 4 year old son loves this book. It was hard to find a Batman book that was age appropriate for him and this one is great! It is a little long as it's written in comic book format but I think I'm the only one who minds the length :)
It's certainly a sight to see my active 3 yr curled up in a corner "reading" his Batman comics! I really hope Lego or this series maker continues to produce this style of Reader Series and maybe add Marvel series. I have two young boys who are developing a love of reading because of this Series =)
My 5-yr old son loves this book! He is a big Batman and Lego fan, so this book was right up his alley. He is also learning to read now, and it's fun for him to recognize the words. It's written very simply, but it's still thoughtful and vibrant. Perfect for budding readers and fans of Lego/Super Heroes.
