My 2.5 year old son loves Spiderman, books and delaying his bedtime! This book is perfect to let him hear a whole story in a short amount of time. I think it helps him unwind at bedtime without feeling deprived of a beloved bedtime ritual. He's too young to really watch Spiderman shows or movies (even the cartoon version can't hold his attention, despite his affinity for the visual of Spiderman, go figure) but he loves hearing us read the stories. He's now telling me all about the "famous" Peter Parker and he thinks it's just so cool. The writing is a cheesy but for the young audience it doesn't really matter. Overall, I'm really glad I bought this book because I'd prefer he use his imagination a bit rather than watch a television show, and he's still learning the story of Peter Parker/Spiderman which I think is really fun for him.

I bought this book for a seven year old boy who is struggling with reading. This is a 5 minute book if you are an adult reading it to a child but for a seven year old, it will take longer than five minutes. Either way, the book is awesome for bedtime reading and helping gain the interest of reading for a child who loves Spiderman or comics. The book arrived in great condition. It is a hard binder with some cushion in it. Graphics are great for kids. This could be one of those books that you save and pass on to your next child.

Bought this along with the Marvel 5-minute stories. My kids love these books, they actually fight over them! They just can't get enough of them. The stories are perfect for bedtime reading and the content is acceptable for my 4 year old. My two year old loves to see spiderman, hulk and iron man and pretends he is reading. The books are super sturdy and there are plenty of pictures to keep the young ones focused.

The book is nothing special. From reading reviews you might think that it's appropriate for smaller children but after receiving it I won't be reading it to my 4.5 year old. I will either give it away or put it away until he is much older.

We bought several 5-minute story books for my 2.5 year old; this was our least favorite. The stories are too mature (my son says they're too scary), and there is a lot of fighting. If your child is older this would probably be fine, but then again if your child is older you may want stories that are longer than 5 minutes. The 5 minute Star Wars book, on the other hand, is awesome!!

This book isn't appropriate for my 3 1/2 year old. In the first chapter, Peter Parker's uncle, who's like a dad to him, gets killed by someone Spidey had the chance to stop in a crime the night before. Not exactly what I wanted as a bedtime story for the little ones. Also, the female secondary characters are all two-dimensional giggly scantily dressed girls.

I bought this book for my grandson who is 4 years old and he absolutely loves these stories. The book travels frequently with him.

I bought this for my son as another book to read from before bedtime. He's 4 years old and is into superheros. Spider-man is one of his favorites. This is a collection of short stories with colorful pictures to illustrate the action on every page. The book is large, with sturdy thick pages that are a bit more resistant to accidental tears that can happen when an excited toddler helps turn a page. He really enjoys this book and the stories in it.
