Thought this would be a kid version of the film, like with the incredible Star Wars Golden Books.It is not. It introduces the characters and then introduces some bad guys with some bizarre semi-plot that is just "Sometimes they fight the bad guys and they win! Hooray!"So lame.
This book DOES NOT follow the movie at all; it simply introduces the heroes/villains. Not what I was expecting considering my previous little golden books purchase, The Force Awakens, which had a much better story line incorporated.
My 3yo loves it! Perfect for little ones that aren't old enough for the comics or movie
Unfortunately, there was no story. It was just a fragmented introduction to various characters in the Guardians comic. Not really fun for a small child.
Great book for our son who is still too young to watch the recent movies like this one.
