The detailed illustrations in this book keep my second graders focused. The vocabulary is rich and the scientific information is clear and easy to understand.

Gail Gibbons once again provides an excellent nonfiction book that can be easily understood by elementary school students. I read this book to second and third graders each year. My only quibble is with the use of the word "vegetarian" instead of "herbivore". I love the diagram that compares frogs and toads. Consider pairing this book with Arnold Lobel's Frog and Toad books.

Love this book! Item was shipped in a timely manner and book arrived in great condition. This is such a cute story. With lots of adorable illustrations. A great rainy day read. I can't wait to read it to my nephew and neice. I read it first and lived it! He he he

I used this book as a read to for T1 class. They really learned from it and retained a lot of the vocabulary. I will add activities and use it again next school year. Thanks

This is a fabulous book, the details and pictures were amazing and my students loved the book, they continued to read it long after we were done our unit on frogs.

Excellent addition to my Non-Fiction collection of Gail Gibbons books. I am very satisfied with the product and the seller.
