There are about a dozen Biscuit books available for your child, and they are all excellent books. "Biscuit Visits the Pumpkin Patch" is one of my daughter's favorites. It combine Biscuit, a red wagon, Puddles, and a white bunny rabbit together for a visit to the pumpkin patch. Why do we like Biscuit books? They are easy for children to comprehend, the illustrations are excellent, and they are quick to read..... which is handy when you are reading them before bedtime! These board books are well constructed and will stand both the test of time, and the destructive habits of your children!Final Verdict - One of our very favorite books - a very easy recommendation for any child under the age of 5.5 Stars
In this book, Biscuit visits the pumpkin patch and makes some new friends while also getting a pumpkin. If you're familiar with the Biscuit books, you know these are simple stories. They are great for young children, and then when the child is a bit older, great for the child to practice their reading.I like this book very much because we are a family that loves Fall and all things Autumn, but we do not generally celebrate Halloween. I'm always on the lookout for Fall books that don't reference Halloween or Halloween themes. So this was a great addition to our collection.
I'll give this five stars based on my kid's fascination with it. I personally think the story is kind of bleh, even for a kid's book, but who am I to argue with the intended audience? The illustrations are great.
My daughter loves the Biscuit books. In the other biscuit books, she only gets to say "woof", but in this book there is a "bow wow" that she gets to say along with it too. I was very happy that it was a board book. Less chance of a two year old tearing it up.
I really appreciate all of the Biscuit books. I read at a Head Start class and after reading - the book is left for those 3 - 5 year olds in their "library". Biscuit is always a hit!! Just right for that age group and a positive influence. Beautifully illustrated too. All Biscuit books get 5 stars from me!
I love the Biscuit series of books! My grandchildren love dogs and this book series is very cute! I plan to buy more of them.
It is a great book. My son is 20 months old and he loves it. The pictures are wonderful and the story is good. We talk about pumpkins and a puppy as we read the book almost every night.
This is one of my son's favorites. He loves the illustrations and the variety of pumpkins Biscuit sees during his trip to the pumpkin patch.
