Make the spot books a part of your toddlers library collection. These books are durable, quick and easy to read and the "lift the flap" aspect makes them perfect for toddlers to join in. In this book, Spot the dog and his dad are looking for baby animals on the farm. This is a theme that children enjoy. The pictures are large and colorful and the story is simple, yet entertaining. My toddler LOVES this book and yours is sure to love it too!

This is an awful Spot book. Spot and his Daddy go looking for an animal that had babies on the farm. The story refers to the animal names "foal", "calf", but never the animal names (horse, cow). Kind of confusing for a young preschooler. Plus a bunny says "tweet, tweet". Its suppose to be joking, but for a 2 year old its just a bit confusing.

Although `Where's Spot' is my son's absolute favourite book, this did not meet with the same degree of enthusiasm. That's not to say he doesn't like it, just not as much as `Where's Spot?' ... maybe it's the repetitive text in that one or maybe the novelty value was worn down, but both `Spot goes to the Farm' and `Spot Visits his Grandparents' seem to work as a "side-dish" for him i.e. only good alongside `Where's Spot', though does read both more often than most of his other books. All in all, I'd say buy this book, but with `Where's Spot?'

I remember reading Spot books when I was a kid. Now at 29 I use these with my daughter :) She has been learning to read and these books are wonderful for beginners. They are short, with few and simple words. The pictures are cute and the stories are sweet. The board books are just simpler for the little ones to turn.I love that my 5 year old reads them to me. When she is reading I make her point to the words/use a ruler to make sure she doesn't just go off of memory. It helps keep the focus.Anyway, I would definitely recommend any of the spot books, but only for beginners.

We love "where's spot." We love the simple plot line, the repetition and the short, concise, predictable answers.Other than the fact that this book has Spot and flaps, it has nothing in common with the classic "where's spot." For a book with flaps, the plot line is complicated and the answers behind the flaps are long and inconsistent. It barely makes any sense. We read a lot of books to our daughter, but we read this once and it was so dumb we returned it.If you love "where's spot" and you're looking for another book like that, don't buy this.

Not nearly as a big hit to the original “Where’s Spot” but still a rather cute book. Like Where’s Spot, this book is very entertaining because the child can read along and then lift the flaps plus the pages are thicker (cardboard) so the child can turn the pages too! I purchased this book for my nephew and it is one of his favorites! This is a must have book for your at home library!

I bought this for my grandson and now that he's 15 months, he is really into Spot and especially the peekaboo panels. It warms my heart to see him come up to me, carrying this book, asking me in his sweet way to read it to him. Thank you, Spot!

We bought this book for my 18 month old daugther becasue she loves the "Where's Spot?" book. That book has become an important part of our bedtime routine. We thought she would find "Spot goes to the farm" just as entertaining, but it does not seem to have the same appeal to her. The story line of the book is okay and the pictures and lift the flap features are cute. I gave this book only 4 stars because I think it's just not up to par with the original.
