We had checked out this book from the library.. 4 weeks went by and she asked me to please renew it... We renewed it again and just decided I had to get it! My daughter loves this book! She loves science and this is one of her favorite books she has now.
The Mad Scientist Academy successfully introduces science to its young readers. The unique illustrations and readable text carry the story to the last page. My grand children loved it, I hope the next series will be as good.
My sons (8 and 4 years old) both enjoyed this graphic novel. It's also full of facts about dinosaurs. The text and illustrations are great. We can't wait for the second book in this series to come out.
This is a cute book that engaged my 6 yr old. She wanted to re-read it several times and it generated a lot of questions and teaching opportunities. My only gripe is the title: i do not think "mad" and science should be used together. I hesitated to buy this book because of that, and i hope the author will rename the academy for the next volume.

My daughter loves all things dinosaur. Facts are made fun and engaging. Looking forward to series. 5 year ago led loves it and keeps going back to read over and over again.
