Saturday Night At The Dinosaur Stomp

What did the dinosaurs do for fun? What really happened when the Jurassic gang wanted to let off some steam? They danced, of course! They rocked and rolled; they twirled and tromped! They had themselves a Dinosaur Stomp! With illustrations by Scott Nash that leap off the page like a raptor doing the fandango, Carol Diggory Shields tells dinosaur devotees all about reptilian revelry with a foot-tapping, tail-whacking beat.

My toddler's teacher told us how much she and all the other kids love the tape that goes with this book. After many searching, I found out the tape is only sold through Scholastic. You can't get it online or in a bookstore. For those who are interested, call 1-800-SCHOLASTIC (1-800-724-6527).

This book is a huge hit in our house! My three-year old daughter, my husband and I love the colorful drawings of dancing dinos and the lyrical story. We read it again and again and never get tired of it. It's a must-read for the dinofanatic, dancin' preschool set and their parents.

Our two children (4 and 2) received the book for christmas last year and it quickly became one of their favorites. The story and illustrations really capture their imaginations, it makes dinosaurs fun, and wacky

For some reason, this book has always charmed me ever since I discovered it and started reading it to my son 15+ years ago, which he really enjoyed. It's lovely, fun and bittersweet all at the same time, like childhood and life itself. My wife and I have carefully kept all our favorite childhood books of his, however, this one was lost in the moves we've made since then. It was out of print for a while but once I saw it was back, snatched one up, and am glad I did. Brought back great memories, and is now added to the collection for potential future grandchildren!Highly recommended!

My 3 year old grandsons love dinosaurs! This is their newest and favorite book. They love the rhythm and the funny story of the dinosaurs getting ready for the big dance. This is sure to become a favorite of any young reader, and it is a fun book for adults to read, too!

We have had this book for over a year now. My daughter loves it and it's still one of her favorite books ever! It's adorable and well written. I have had to brush up on pronouncing dinosaur names in order to read it. The photos are great and it's a cute story! Great for any kid who loves dinosaurs! We got this when she was three and now at four it's still one of her favorites!

This is the funniest, craziest dinosaur book ever! Even I enjoy reading it. My 5 year old brought it to school for reading time, and his classmates enjoyed it so much it has been read more than 5 times.

This is my all-time favorite children's book...very upbeat, great graphics, rhymingMisplaced my copy and had to order another...don't want to be without it!My children are grown, but I plan to have for nieces, nephews, grandchildren in future!Delivered on time, good pricing...thanks,
