Perhaps it said it in the product description but I assumed there would be 100 individual cards so I can work with my 1st grader to count from 1-100. However, it goes from 1-50 on one side and 51-100 on the other side. It's not a huge deal but I find it annoying when I'm trying to count with my daughter and I have to interrupt her to rearrange the cards. They're cheap and they do the trick but I wish they were not 2-sided.
I bought this set to help my Kindergartner who is learning all his Spanish numbers in his dual-immersion class. I think the cards are great, they have the numeral, name in English and name in Spanish. They are a good price at less than three bucks. They have numbers printed front and back, so each card has two numbers (so it takes up less space). The only thing I could wish for would be a phonetic translation of the Spanish name, since my husband and myself are English only and just learning too.
Very nice cards! They are good quality, and the printing is good. I'm using these as an adult learner, and they are really going to help. Excellent purchase!I'm sure these would be good for kids as well. The cards are fairly thick/durable, and they are large, so they would be easy to hold. They are probably twice the size of normal poker cards.Note: These also have some bonus cards in the box that aren't advertised, such as 125, 150, 200, 275, etc...
We are using these flash cards as a supplement to the "Your baby can read" series. The cards are durable, clear, and colorful. Our son loves them and they can hold his attention for 15+ minutes which is excellent for a 14 month old. We've purchased the numbers, colors & shapes, and first words. He enjoys reviewing all three sets with mommy or daddy, but his favorite is the first words. I think he enjoys the first words the most because he can more easily relate the pictures to his real world. As he gets older, I imagine he will be able to more easily relate abstract ideas like numbers and shapes. I highly recommend any set of cards by this company.
I bought these for my grandaughter who will be starting kindergarten this fall. They are large and great quality. They wipe clean from sticky little fingers. Since I have bought them she has improved a lot.
These flash cards are ok. My issue with them is that the English and Spanish word for each number is on the same side of the card. I would rather have the English word on one side and the Spanish word on the other side with the actual number on both sides. It's hard to quiz somebody if both words are on the same side of the card. I didn't want that, but these were the only ones that I could find that came even kind of close to what I wanted.
These are jumbo-sized glossy flashcards...like playing cards but bigger. They teach numbers 1 to 100 in a large, easy-to-read size, using both sides of the card...perfect for classrooms. Numbers below 50 are in blue, numbers above 50 are in red. This set also includes four numbers above one hundred: 125, 150, 175, and 200. A nice and useful bonus. For anyone just starting to learn Spanish (kids to adults!), these are an incredible value for $3.
These are good! Not very thick at all but as long as you supervising, they will last. If your child is into tearing things up, don't get these. These are for guided learning anyway. I would give this 5 stars if they were more sturdy.
