Just what I needed to prove my adulthood of traversing the college campus. With this baby on my wall, I feel confident and calm. All that mayor-ly training has provided me with impeccable skills necessary to succeed!The calendar itself is very simple. Each month displays a different character. Each season change is depicted by their corresponding month and grass tile. (In this case, January, April, June, September, and December.)Also, comes with a sheet of stickers and is decked out in full awesome-ness. I will probably never use the stickers though.
The calendar is really nicely made, actually a big larger than I expected, with thick glossy pages. Each month has a different non-villager NPC character represented, and it includes a sheet of stickers. Major holidays are included, and some days have a little icon as well (like an apple or fossil) but I'm not sure if they mean anything or are just random decoration. Like another reviewer mentioned, I might have preferred each month being a different complete scene instead of just a single character, but as is, it's still really cute and I'm very happy with it.
This calendar is very nice. Every year, I get a different theme calendar from Nintendo and it is hit and miss sometimes, but this one is very nice quality, the pen does not leave residual marks in the next page, and it is very big. I also love that it comes with a big sticker sheet. It comes with over 60 stickers. I like using them on the calendar to remind myself if I have something coming up on that day. As an avid Animal Crossing fan, this is a great calendar to have. I love they are not overdoing it with the designs. I still have plenty of room to write stuff down in the calendar. If I had to nitpick though, I would have preferred more of the smaller sized stickers on the sticker sheet so that I have plenty of stickers that I can use as reminders on the calendar with having less clutter, but it does not take away from the overall quality of the product.
First off: this calendar came with a large sheet of high quality stickers. The stickers are definitely my favorite thing about this purchase and, for the fanatical collector, may be worth the cost of the calendar all by themselves. I am just a little bit disappointed that the large sheet of stickers won't fit into my sticker binder.Anyway, on to the calendar itself: I am honestly a bit disappointed with it. While the artwork is nice and the calendar is well-made, I am not fond of the characters chosen to be represented on each page (one character for each month). I'm sure that Nintendo knows how to find out which characters are the most popular, but instead of placing the popular characters on each month's page, they instead chose less popular NPCs (no villagers are featured). Overall, however, the calendar is nicer than most and I feel that it's worth the price I paid.
With all the adorable scenes that occur in the Animal Crossing series it was a little disappointing that this has just single character pictures for each month. Would have liked more random scenes, characters with others, scenes like the shops or beach....I still love this though, because al of the AC characters are so cute!
This calendar is a perfect gift for Animal Crossing lovers! It is super high quality and well designed. The stickers put it over the top with cuteness. I have never seen Animal Crossing stickers anywhere else, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The stickers and the calendar feature many lesser known villagers, so even if your favorite character is less popular, it will likely still be featured (mine was!).
What can you say about a calender from a video game? They have the months & holidays correct with cute pictures of your favorite animals that hopefully live happily in your town. If not, we know who to blame and it's not these cute little guys!
Calendar is very cute, and I love all the stickers it came with. I was only expecting a small sticker sheet, but instead it is a whole page. The calendar is also a nice size, it is bigger than most calendars I have bought in the past.
