I'm using the 2015 calendar right now and have this one when 2016 rolls around. The puzzles are great. While I don't think they're really MENSA quality, I feel quite "smart" when I've completed the daily one. Really a nice way to start the day with a puzzle and a cup of coffee.
I love these calendars with the crosswords. I tend to keep them for traveling as you can tear off a small stack and then pack it in a carry on for a plane or car trip. The difficulty is enough to keep it interesting while easy enough to get a sense of accomplishment . And the answers are on the back of the same puzzle so the cheat sheet is close!
I really like this calendar, but I don't think the puzzles can be done in 10 minutes. Catchy title though. Good size puzzles (approximately 50 to 60 clues for both across and down) so not a quickie, lightweight puzzle. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.
Fun, and not very difficult, despite Mensa affiliation. But it's really false advertising to have each Saturday and Sunday share one puzzle. It's not the "Six-Pages-a-Week" calendar, after all.
My husband is an avid crossword puzzler. I am so so. I purchased this with the New York Times calendar and the two of us can breeze through most of these. I'd place it at medium difficulty.
This was a requested holiday gift and is always appreciated...The puzzles are hard enough for a superior mind but can accommodate others who sometimes ask for group help!
This was a gift for the 2nd year in a row. My girlfriend liked the cosswords so much last year, I sent her another Mensa 10-Minute Crossword Puzzle for 2016.
The print is very, very small. Even with my reading cheaters I'm squinting badly. If small print is an issue (as it can be with us over 40's).
