Generally I like this calendar. It has several different types of puzzles (word, math, cryptograms, matching) and the difficulty level varies. It typically uses the same puzzle formats (but different puzzles) throughout. I really like that they offered a free digital calendar you can access online too, which can be the same or a completely different one. It would be very cool it was offered as an app for your phone or kindle instead of just on their web site (and through email). Still, I've been satisfied and would definitely consider buying another.
Had the 2015 version and loved it, but this version lacks. All the pages are connected at the top so you have to work the puzzle from the stack on the calendar. 2015 version was much better in that all pages were loose and placed in the calendar holder. I used to like to work the puzzle, then put it back on display so that i could see the date at a glance. With this new version, if you pull the page off to work, you cant display it. The display isnt sturdy enough to pop up the holder each day.
This is a great calender. I like puzzles that make me think. Each puzzle is interesting and the perfect degree of the challenge. The solutions are on the back, so you can figure out where you went wrong. The colorful art of the puzzles is excellent and looks great on my desk.
I like having a daily puzzle to do, but I am a little disappointed that it's basically just variations of the same 10 or 20 puzzles over and over.
This calendar has been a lot of fun so far this year. I keep it at work and one of my co-workers purchased one as well after seeing mine. It is a fun way to start my day.
