I've been buying this calendar for years and my only complaint is that I wish they would print the month on the bottom of the calendar so it is easier to flip through and see the months without having to open the entire thing, especially when it's mounted on a wall.. I usually do this in black magic marker when I receive it.Other than that, there are good-sized blocks to write in along with interesting info for the month.
Meh.... it's just a wall calendar. I bought it thinking there would be enough space to write gardening notes, like what day i planted what, when i saw the seedlings, etc., but the squares are just regular wall calendar size. The gardening tips and information might be useful to an eight-year-old who's never had a garden before, but for an adult, even an amateur gardener, it's not very useful. It's the equivalent of a diet book telling you to park in the farthest spot, or take the stairs instead of the elevator. It's like..... duh. Tell me something that everyone in the world doesn't already know.
I get it every year. It's my datebook that hangs on the wall. Moon phases and wheel of the year hang right at eye level.
This gardening calendar is a little smaller than I expected but thats ok. It fits perfectly where I intended it to.It includes tidbits of information here and there that is relevant to each month.January it gives pruning tips and to use this month to check houseplants and get ready for next month.March gives soil germination temps and talks about household items you can recycle and use in the garden. And so on. It is a great idea and reminder to have around.
Exactly what I wanted. I get this calendar every year because it fits on the side of my cabinet in the kitchen, other calendars are always to large. There is enough room in the boxes for each day to write down appointments, etc. Thanks.
I have not seen this years yet but it will arrive soon. If you like an easy to read calendar with beautiful renderings of flowers and such you will love these Farmers Almanac calendars. I've been using these for years. I love the little bits of information along with pictures on each month. There is room for notations in the boxes around the numbers, which is also a plus for me.
The calendar looks nice in my kitchen. It is a smaller size, but plenty of room to write in blocks for day. I love the pictures and little tidbits are interesting. I would buy in future for other years based on this one.
