Last year the publishers goofed and the pages were one day ahead by July. For example, Tuesday's puzzle was actually a Wednesday puzzle. Consequently, the puzzle for January 1, 2016 was the same as the puzzle for December 3, 2015, as they fixed the mismatch. I am hoping that a similar problem does not occur this year. All in all, though, I like these puzzles, especially the Friday and Saturday challenges. I wish only that they could include the Sunday puzzles somehow.
We've been ordering this for years, but this will be be last time. When a started the puzzle for 1/1, I recognized it from a puzzle I completed a few days before. Today, 1/2, I also recognized the clues from a recent puzzle. Sure, clues can repeat, but this was much more than that. If they're going to recycle entire puzzles, at least they could mix them up a little better!
Bought this as a gift for my wife as she pretty much would get the paper JUST for the crossword puzzle. A few days into 2016 and she's loving it. This is the NY Times Crossword Puzzle, so expect a solid challenge, but with 365 of them, there's enough here to keep even the most prolific crossword puzzle fan engaged.
I've been ordering this day-by-day New York Times crossword puzzle calendar for YEARS now. I can't start my day without my crossword! (There is no Sunday puzzle, so you have to buy a Sunday puzzle book to make sure you have a fresh crossword everyday of the week.) Worth every penny.
I purchased this with the Mensa crossword puzzle-a-day. This is by far superior. It gets progressively more difficult (although Wed is usually the most difficult) thus challenging my husband. We do like the "quicky" Monday reprieve, especially if we get behind on them.

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She loves it. There is a great variety of puzzles, but the font of the clues is a little small, which makes it a little difficult to complete at times.
