Like all things "Peppa Pig", my 16 month old granddaughter loves these books. She looks at the pictures and points to her favorite characters and enjoys having them read to her over and over. The book was shipped quickly and was priced right. It's difficult to find "Peppa Pig" items in USA stores because it seems that everything Peppa is made in England and you have to find them online.I like these books so much I bought 10 different books, all published by Scholastic. You can't beat the prices here on for these books.
These books are taken from episodes of the TV show, which is a good thing because my girls love Peppa Pig! My daughter (3 years old) hates going to the dentist but this book helps! She doesn't fight the trip to the dentist but still freaks out a little during the actual cleaning. DS is a big fan of Peppa Pig and after reading this book to him a few times now he's eager to read it to me. He's also very proud to show us that his teeth are just as clean as Peppa, George, and the Dinosaur... now if only this book will also cure his fear of the dentist... time will tell
Both my kids love Peppa, the way these books are written are the same as the TV episodes so if you haven't watched the episodes on TV then the stories may seem incomplete or lacking in detail. We have watched all Peppa pig episodes at least 5 times! So these books are simply an extension of what the kids watch on TV. They enjoy having me read it to them during bed time and looking at the pictures and pointing out their favorite characters. The stickers in the 'Dentist Trip' were really nice. Great books!
This is a cute and short little book which was perfect for helping my daughter not be afraid of her first dentist trip. Cute and funny little story. Would still definitely appeal to kids who have never seen the tv show or read other Peppa books, as the story stands alone, but would be perfect for a Peppa fan.
My toddler loves anything peppa the pig so when I saw this I knew I had to pick it up. She just recently had her first dentist appointment and I really enjoyed reading this book with her prior to her own dental experience. I would absolutely recommend this book
I like that it touches on not needing to be scared by the dentist but it doesn't give any detail of what actually goes on, and the dentist pretty much looks at their teeth and says they are clean. All they do is rinse their mouths and they are done. I was hoping the dentist would at least clean their teeth so my child will know that part isn't scary. Either way, it's still cute and just the right length of story for my 2 year old.
this will be a birthday present for my granddaughter who will be turning 3. this will prep her for her first trip to the dentist. she loves to be read too.
