Cute book. Not too long, baby seems to like it. I felt the price point on this book was pretty high for the content, my guess is that I paid for the "Elmo" name, not the work that went into writing/developing it.
My 18 month old daughter really loves Sesame Street and Elmo, this was a cute book all about Elmo bringing a new puppy home and how he cares for it. The illustrations are really cute and some of them are even fuzzy.
We bought this book for our daughter's first bday. Great size board book. She can easily hold it herself and not to many pages(perfect for short attention spans). The story itself is a little awkward. Lots of characters talking, I will admit that I am biased towards more narrative or third person stories at this age. It is easier for beginning readers to fallow if they don't have bubble conversations to look at too. (Yes, I know my one year old cannot read. But I like to look for transition books). All in all, it's ELMO- you can not really go wrong!
My 2 year old loves the book and finding all the felt pieces on every page.
Cute book! Got for my 18-mo old who loves dogs as a Christmas present. He loves looking at it and opening the flaps
My 18 month old daughter is obsessed with Elmo and puppies- needless to say we read this book 10 times in 1 day!
This book is just too busy. There's a lot going on on every page, and elmo's bad grammar is annoying.
My son loved this book. He got the best of both worlds he loves Elmo and dogs.
