Having previously puchased the "DK ROCK AND MINERAL STICKER BOOK" and having found it an invaluable resource for introducing children to the subject of geology, I looked forward to the arrival of the DK "Ultimate Rocks and Mineral Sticker Book" and the interesting information I was sure it would contain. However, I found it to be the "ULTIMATE" DISAPPOINTMENT. It was only 20 pages compared to the 96 pages in the "DK ROCK AND MINERAL STICKER BOOK", and as you might expect, it contained much less useful information. In my opinion, the original DK ROCK & MINERAL STICKER BOOK was the "Ultimate" Resource. The elementry school level information it contained was expansive, easy to understand, full of fun and interesting facts, cultural stories, and examples of how geology impacts us today. It also contained over 600 stickers of rocks, minerals, and their uses, as well as sticker placement pages of the various environments where they could be found, the hardness scale, etc to engage children in educational play. In comparison, I feel that the DK "ULTIMATE ROCK AND MINERAL STICKER BOOK" should have been titled "THE EXTREMELY CONCISE INTRODUCTION TO ROCKS AND MINERALS STICKER BOOK." Bottom Line: Don't waste your money on this resource--order the original "DK ROCK & MINERAL STICKER BOOK" instead.
