We ordered this book as a stocking stuffer for my son. He loves nonfiction books, especially biographies. I was pleased to find a children's book at Ronald Reagan as he is my favorite president of all time. My son enjoyed reading about the president of my childhood. I hope they write about the George Bush and George W Bush soon. I want my son to learn about great leaders. I will not be purchasing the Obama book. Blech.
This book does not even begin to express the great contribution made to the conservative cause by one of the greatest presidents in American History. It is as if the author knows nothing about the contribution of Ronald Reagan and is purposefully avoiding the major issues. Although the book is for kids, at least some background regarding the effort to reduce the size and scope of government would be appropriate. The publisher should have found an author who appreciates the scope of the Reagan presidency.
My kids love the Big head Bio Books. My 6 year old loves to read anything but my 8 year especially loves History. These books are great. Though the book doesn't go into dramatic detail it does give a fast sweeping historical look of Reagan. Fun book.
This book was purchased for getting info on a President book report, and it delivered some interesting content that I'd never heard of before as an adult, plus it was exciting for my daughter too. Ronald Reagan is her favorite President and she enjoyed hearing so many things about him growing up too.
We ordered this book for a research project for my child, he read it in a day and couldn't put it down. It has illustrations and is a easy read with a lot of information. This was a perfect book to learn about Reagan, especially for a child. I do recommend it!
I ordered the book for my grandson who was doing a report in 5th grade. The book was interesting and gave a lot of facts at the 5th grade level. It really helped him in doing a very complete
This book series is great. True stories about real people. President Reagan was the best president the U.S. has ever had. This book is a great way to introduce children to the best former president ever.
Very nice series, my 4the grader read this on my cell phone and said it was a great book. I think its a great option to offer kids to read books this way when you have limited time to get to the library. Highly recommended!
