This series of books by Mike Venezia makes composers readily accessible to children and young adults. I use these to assist with my music appreciation curriculum in a middle school. They give just enough information to pique a child's interest, yet leave room for additional discovery.
This series of musician biographies is wonderful - funny, charming illustrations, and with worthwhile knowledge to boot! My kids love them. I only wish there were a few more!
Great for young readers! They love the comics added!
