Excellent book to make a positive impression on young girls and reinforce that being a girl does not mean there are any limitations on what you can achieve if you desire to do it. My Granddaughters ages 5 and 7 enjoyed it. May have been a bit over their heads but sewing the seeds young reaps the harvest later. I strongly recommend.
What a timely and wonderful book!My daughters and I have enjoyed this great book. It's too bad the racist Trump backers have logged on to give this fantastic book irrelevant bad reviews.Markel is a skilled writer who has written a well documented and tactful narrative of Hillary. All kids should read this book.
I am so excited to read this to my grandchildren. I want them all to know they can do anything with hard work and determination. This book is perfect for all ages. I love how the book evolves through the timeline of her life and does a great job of expressing her ambition. Even if you're not going to vote for Hill, history is being made and the story needs to be shared with girls across the world. GREAT, GREAT book!
Great book for girls and boys about determination and striving to make a difference in the world. Wonderfully illustrated and informative. Ignore the Hillary hater reviews. The book has a great message for kids and highlights many of Secretary Clinton's greatest accomplishments.
Some Girls are Born to Lead, but Hillary is not one of them
Great first book for a friend's baby.
This is a beautifully written and illustrated biography of Hillary Clinton. It should inspire girls to think big and to follow through on their convictions.Nancy
Even if you don't want Hillary for president, this book shows what determination can do for women
