Got this bk for a 7 yr old and he loved it! I thought it was so nice that I got one for my son for when he is older. Great illustrations, descriptions, and fold-out pages. It is about pirates so it is a little rough in terms of content (but not downright violent), but it is an exciting journey for a young boy (or girl!)... Have the castle one too now and it is also worthwhile.
