Our toddler loves this! The illustrations are darling and the story is great. We do a different voice for each character which she loves. Now our daughter loves to flip through the pages and recite the parts she knows, as if she were reading to herself. So cute!
Obviously a traditional story that dates back to way-back-when and I wanted my son to learn. I love that this version looks original and like something my parents would have had (they are 70!). But be warned, in some of the illustrations, the bears (and even Goldie Locks) look completely deranged. But that just adds to the old fashioned charm, right? And my 2 year doesn't seem phased or bothered by them.
This is the same classic story and I think book form my childhood. I wanted to get this to read to my 3 year old daughter. She is just starting to get into fairy tales. The pictures are vintage and the bears and Goldie Locks look a little deranged in some. This quickly became one of her favorites and has been in the night time reading rotation since it arrived.
This was for a baby shower and we were to select a favorite childhood book.. I saw this and instantly remembered it. Gosh, brought back some fond memories.... book arrived in excellent shape and it is now In the nursery of little Barrett who was born this week !
I had this book as a kid and loved it, so I decided to buy it for my son and daughter to read to them, I hope they love it as much as I did when I was little. I just loved the pictures in this book, and I hope as my two little ones get bigger and start school that they will love to read it as well.
Great book easy to read. Bought this for my grandchildren ages 2 and 4. These type of stories never get old. I still remember the story as a child. Easy for them to hold and the price was great.I paid full price for this and the review is my own.
A super cute book to read my baby. He is still too young to actually say if he likes it or not, but I enjoy reading it to him. I have been collecting little golden books since he was born so we would build up a nice book collection.
This may just be nostalgic for me but I love this classic Golden book of The Three Bears. It brings back memories of having a big pile of golden books to read through or better yet be read to by my mom or big sis,when I was young.,Lots of good memories. Now it's our turn to start these memories for the little ones in our lives. The Three Bears is a good start to that collection!
