Another animal is in trouble and the Rescue Princesses must save the day.Great series and my 9 year old can't get enough. She is already on #5, and is begging me to order the complete series. She is in love with all animals, so she is enjoying these books very much. They are an easy read for her and she feels good about herself because she can conquer a chapter book with in 2 days.
My 8yo daughter emphatically does not like princesses as all they do is 'kiss boys'. So I was very surprised when she came home from the book fair with one of these saying she wanted to read more of them. From what I gather, as I haven't had a chance to read them for myself, is each princess has an animal that they rescue. Quote from my daughter, 'they all have a sense of adventure and don't kiss boys'. So, yeah, I would absolutely recommend them.
I have been reading this series aloud to my 5 year old daughter. Shes loves them. Yes, they are predictable, and a little silly. At the same time they have helped my daughter appreciate novels, and not only picture books. We have enjoyed the stories together and she always is very curious to find out what happens next. I would recommend them as a good read aloud for young girls.
Put little princesses together with baby animals, and what do you have? A recipe for reading! My 7-year-old daughter loved this series. She read all of them in two days! I'll copy this review to the other books we bought here in this series.
My six-year-old can't get enough of these! The main characters are princesses (which she likes). They also have "ninja skills," show initiative, and are generally pretty tough girls (which I like). Love this series!
I chose this book because I LOVE "Rescue Princesses" and my mom was on the library computer and found this book. I find this book very interesting if you like animals.(written by the 8 year old who read the book).
My daughter who is 7 loves this book series! She read the whole book in one day! Now she wants to get to the next one
My 4 yo loved reading this aloud to me; the language is not too difficult and the story was exciting and engaging. This is the first 'longer' story she has read, and the chapters are a good length to do one or two a night. I hope she enjoys the rest in the series this much!
