My daughter loves these books. We currently have three of them. These have been some of her favorite books since she was just a couple of months old. She is now 13 months and she still loves them. She gets so excited when the little puppets move. She has even given them kisses on occasion. They are also great for traveling because they are quite small and they are a perfect size for little hands. They have also held up to a lot of abuse from being stuffed in diaper bags and played with by the little one. I highly recommend these books.
I bought several of these puppet finger books and they were a great hit with everyone at the party and they were all adults! So im sure once baby arrived he too will love them, so much fun to play with!!
Not the best writing (which matters when you're the one reading it) or illustrations, but the lion is cute. I've seen other books from this series and they are better. My vote is to skip this particular one and get one of the other animals.
This is a great book to keep little ones entertained! It's the perfect size for small hands and is easy to pack in any diaper bag. There are lots of different titles to choose from, so you will definitely want to buy more than one!
My son loves this book as he really enjoys the puppet lion head. He is starting to realize he can put his fingers in and play too. It's also a really short book perfect for when we need a quick read before bed.
Story is not very good and all the pictures look exactly the same. My son loved his other finger puppet book (Snoopy's Happy Day) so we bought several in the Little Animal series and all of them the puppets are not long enough to fit through the front without a lot of working with it. Most of the stories and pictures aren't very good but this is the worst of all that we got. Two of the pages are almost identical and there is pretty much nothing more than a son and lion legs in most of the pictures. Pretty much each page looks like the cover. My son doesn't seem much interested.
My grandson loves these Finger Puppet Books. He selects them often when he wants someone to read to him. And they are a lot of fun to read because you can make different noises and tickle the little one while reading them.
I love the concept of the puppet book. Baby loves to touch and feel puppet while reading. Overall it's adorably cute. Only complaint is that the story is very short. I wish it had a couple more pages.
