We loved Gossie and then Gertie! And Peedie and BooBoo and Ollie! And then Gideon was my favorite and now we have sweet little Gus. Just as adorable, just as unique and if you have a little boy who loves turtles: It can't get any better.
My grandsons (4 and 7) and now my granddaughter (2) LOVE the "Duck and Goose" series of books. Gus is much like the Duck and Goose books and did not disappoint. The characters are so cute (both artistically and in print), it's hard to resist them! There is always a message in the books that resonates with little ones. I'd recommend this book for anyone with a toddler!!
Gus is a sweet little duck that enjoys being alone. That all changes for his when he finds three little eggs. Read along to see what friends he finds inside.The book is small in size making it easy for toddlers to hold and turn the pages. Each page has only one sentence making this easy to read to little ones who have short attention spans. The pictures of various animals will be enjoyed by children of all ages.I would recommend this book to parents and caregivers of children ages birth to 3. The story is very simple and is one that kids will enjoy hearing over and over again.

Wonderful story about a neat and tidy gosling and an adventurous but messy gosling. Whimsical illustrations with bright colors make this an enjoyable story for young children. Highly recommended.
Gossie is my sons favorite book so i ordered a bunch of the "friends" books. the stories in them are just OK though. some dont really make much sense either.
Gus is another win for Olivier Dunrea! We own all the titles in the Gossie & Friends series. You cannot go wrong with these whimsical books!
For some reason, my little girl did not care for the book. Maybe too much white in the background. Cute picture and story.
