Very good book with lots of beautiful detailed paintings on each page that allow for discusions beyond the storyline of 5 ducklings that get lost one by one and are found all at the end by their mother. The emphasis is on counting down from 5 in a repetitive rhyme, but the great illustrations make it fascinating to my 2yr old, who often comments on them. It is one of his favorites.

We came across this book at our local library and ended up deciding to buy it because we kept having to request it from the library. Our little one year old daughter would always search for it in her book shelf to have us read it during story time. The illustrations are wonderful and have a lot of details that can be fun for kids to explore. It's also been great way for us to expose our daughter to Spanish. Overall a big hit on our home!

This is our favorite book for reading to our two year old daughter. The illustrations are incredibly beautiful and the text reads with poetic cadence. Our daughter learns counting as we go through the pages.
