This version is a cute story, but the ending is a little pompous....."the ugly duckling ruffled his beautiful white feathers, turned, and proudly paddled away." (from his duck mom and siblings)I would have preferred something a little more humble and gracious.The illustrations were beautiful though!I was planning to give it to a friend for a baby shower gift, but decided on another story.
I loved this book. It has great pictures and illustrations. I bought this book knowing i would love it and i did. The author does such a good job of getting a good meaning across. This book gave me inspiration as a child, to be unique and be confident.
The classic tale of an ugly duckling turned beautiful swan. Board book, great for the little ones in your world. Of course a good story!
Didn't meet my expectations. This is not the same story I was told as a child.
A classic book and my children love it! It came really quick with Prime even though we live in Hawaii.
A must have book to read with your infant. We also like the board style books.
