We didn't actually read these so I'm assuming they are up to the normal Clifford quality of book. I got these to go in party favor bags for my daughter's "library" themed birthday party. They were perfect and a good price so that I could afford a book for every child.
My son loves the books! They are a great read and I love the "Big Idea" aspect to the stories. These books are on the flimsy side. I suspect there will be a lot of damage to the cover and pages as we use them more. The books have a staple binding with a very thin sort of laminated cover. The carrying case is a fun addition.
The book set was purchased for my 5 1/2 year old. He is a huge fan of Clifford! He loves to carry his box set around to different rooms in the house as well as carrying it into the car do he can practice his reading skills. All the favorites are included in this story box collection!
