This golden book is my favorite out of all of them. I have seriously loved the book for a long time and it has favorite Mother Goose stories with Disney characters portraying the roles. The artwork is vintage because of how the book was first published in the 1940's keeping with the original imagery. IT'S A MUST BUY FOR ANY LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK OR DISNEY FAN! Although I would prefer the older editions because of the front and back covers but the covers on this version is good too. For anyone wanting to get this version because of loving the older version, you may want to be aware of the binding as the binding for newer Little Golden Books like this re-issue is different than how it would be for the 1980's and 1990's.
Great to use as a "card" for a baby gift.
For a grandson who has all the Mickey items.. this was a perfect book for him! Mickey and Mother Goose together.... what a great combo!
I read this book as a child and this one is beyond expectation. The book is so new, mine was never in this good condition.
I recommend it. I had the book when I was little, when my kids were little, and now the great grandkids are enjoying it.
Loved this charming little Golden Book.. Wish they would make one of the chunky Golden Books with different stories..
