This book is SO COOL!! I laughed out loud a thousand times because Max is SO funny, and the artwork is AWESOME! The ending is a real cliffhanger. This book just came out, but I already want the sequel to come out, too!! This book is just as good as Dork Diaries!!!!😄😆😁
If you've read Rachel's dork diaries series then you'll love this series its just a branch off of dork diaries. THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING
My granddaughter loves Dork Diaries so I ordered this for her. She LOVED it!!!! She is 8 and she couldn't put it down. She finished it in 2 days. She wants #2.
My son and daughter love this book! They finished it in a few days. My daughter was already an avid reader of the Dork Diaries series and Max Crumby is the perfect addition to Rachel Renee Russell's' books. I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a fun read!
My 9 year old LOVED this book and it's gotten him reading more, he can't wait for the next one to come out, similar to the Dairy books, this is super for the young readers and gets them into books. Rachel Russell is an amazing writer for young readers, MORE please!!!
Good. it is very interesting, it has realistic events and has cracked me up throughout the whole book. I am very pleased with this book.
I bought The Misadventures of Max Crumbley as a gift for my eight year old daughter Camryn Chase. She has enjoyed the Dork Diaries series and read them all several times. Once I saw that the author had started a new series I knew we had to give it a try. To my surprise my daughter put down her IPad and picked up the book and did not pick her IPad back up until the book was done. I watched her read and laugh out loud with a smile on her face. Even now she walks through the house quoting Max. If you enjoy seeing a smile on your child's face I highly recommend this book. My daughter is already asking for book #2. I had to explain that we may have to wait just a little while to give the author time to rest after writing book #1. Definitely 5 stars.
My son loved this book. It was an easy, summer read. His only concern was how long he will have to wait for the next book in this series to come out. If your kids are fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid type stories, this will be right up their alley.
