Bought for my ten year old son. He loves the books. According to him they are just as good as diary of a wimpy kid.
I purchased this as a gift for Christmas for a 7 year old boy who was a fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. This series also includes drawings inside almost like a comic, but not quite. As a librarian, I knew that this series was hugely popular and hard to keep on the shelves, so I figured I couldn't go wrong and I was right! The mother of the boy told me he loved all 3 books and has since purchased or checked out the other titles in the series.
My eight year old absolutely loves these books. He read through them in just a few days over his winter break, laughing and giggling the whole time. I was a little worried that books would be one of the lame parent gifts but he was genuinely excited to read these.
My son loves Big Nate and I wanted him to read he entire series ths was economical to purchase it as a set
I purchased these books for my nephew who loves the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books. Of course I did a google search for "similar" books. I wasn't sure what Wimpy books he had and didn't have. These stuck out to me more because there were more books available in this series which is a plus. If my nephew likes this box set, I'll know what to get him for Christmas. :0)
My son loves the diary of a wimpy kid series. He can't put them down which is great because he has ADD and can't focus on a ton of things that don't peak his interest. He has the entire serious so I figured I would get him these since he read all of the other books. He loves these just as much as the wimpy kid series.
Got these for my son who can be a reluctant reader at times but he loves the whimpy kid books and as soon as these came in the mail he started reading them. They are actually bigger than I thought and I like that they have a case to hold them all together. The colors draw kids in and the cartoonish figures keep them reading. Happy with this purchase.
This is a great book for boys who "don't like to read." My son enjoys reading Big Nat books. It has enough color pictures to keep him interested, and just enough words to keep me happy. I plan on purchasing more Big Nate after he finishes book 3. It was a great price for 3 books.
