This book is perfect for anyone who is learning or can already speak some Mandarin. I bought it for the little boys (4 and under) that I nanny and teach Mandarin. They love the pictures and the cute story. It allows their parents, who don't speak Mandarin, to read it to them when I am not there because also includes pinyin as well as English. I wish I could find more books just like this because I would buy every single one.
No one can learn Chinese from this book. I know traditional Chinese. However, the content is totally lost in translation!!!Illustration is not bad. However, text that conveys the idea totally lost its audience...not sure which age group this is for???If you want your child to learn Chinese this is NOT it whether you are a beginner or advanced :-((
