Unlike most learning books this one has full color. The lessons are right on target and should be used as a companion to other teaching. My only issue with the book is that there are only about 3 problems on each page.
Bought along with Beginning Math and Beginning phonics for a 4 yr old preparing for K5 next fall. She enjoys knowing it is a k5 book and she does 1 page a day from all 3 books...and loves it
She's only 4 years old, but she is reading. My granddaughter knows her letters and the sounds they make. She sounds out the words she doesn't recognize and usually figures them out. This book was most helpful to me in teaching her.
this book does not have tear out sheets so it isn't as easy to use. it is a small book but for the price it is ok. if you are just looking for something for you child to get some extra practice with this would for and at an inexpensive price
My 5 year old finished this in about 2 hours. So, it was fun, and he enjoyed it but it wasn't terribly challenging.
My 5 year old has a learning disability and this book has helped her get a head. I love it and so does she.
really colourful and full of pictures. also many different exercises which keep the worksheets interesting.
Great book. I bought this before my kindergartener started school. It really helped him to get into the idea of homework and concentration.
