My son was excited to receive this sticker book for Christmas - he is a train fanatic. Unfortunately, the book is extremely thin - we went through it in no time flat. Great stickers, great information for a train loving child, but simply not enough here to justify the cost.
I ordered this and did not read how many pages it is. Its literally 6 pages with 4 of stickers and then you are done. And if you have a 4yr old it just doesn't hold their attention long enough. So it has good pics and stickers but high priced for what you get.
I bought this book for my nearly 3 year old son who loves train and loves stickers. His instinct was to tear through the stickers and put them on his hands and shirt but I explained how they fit into the profiles of the different trains. Now he loves reading the book about the trains. It's incredible how much he knows about trains and this book is a huge hit for him. Should be good for kids of any age who like trains.
I love these sticker books. Great gift ideas for kids. Nephews love these. My sister told me that her kids ask for these sticker books I bought for them everyday. They love them. Their ages are 2 1/2 and 4 years old.
I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday. He's only a little obsessed with trains. Just slightly. He loved it. The only issue I have is that there are extra stickers that don't have specific places to go in the book. My son wanted to take the sticker off, then find where it went in the book. In doing that, we ended up with stickers on our fingers with nowhere to put them. Then we had to put them back. I like extra stickers, don't get me wrong, but once we realized there were some that didn't go anywhere, we had to look in the book for an empty spot, then look for the sticker that would fill it. No big deal. We just didn't know that from the start.
Perfect for kids who love trains and can't get enough of them! The stickers are great quality and the pictures are exactly what you'll expect from DK company. Kids love the 'cut right out of a picture' stickers and the countless amount of time to play with them. I have always loved DK because I grew up with this company and DK never fails to amaze me with the incredible picture quality and entertainment they offer for kids this generation! This makes a great gift idea!
REAL photos, not illustrations, make this book a treasure for train lvoers of all ages. It is a must for any car trip, to stuff a stocking, or to give to the train buf ages 6 - 96!
These books are amazing! My 2 3/4 year old son loves doing them with us. We do them as part of our bedtime routine. He loves all vehicles - we have already completed the Truck book and he loves the Train book just as much. It's fun for my husband and I too - we are all learning about the different vehicles. The outline of the shapes help our son too! He is getting better with each sticker at being able to line up the sticker and cover the highlighted shape.
