I bought NGR Planes for my 5 year old and he absolutely adores it. I was wary after reading the other review and discovered that the other reviewer should have double checked his facts before he called them false. They are 100% true. Also, the interesting tidbits about things like the how much food is on board an aircraft carrier is exactly what makes the book stand out from the rest of the yawn-worthy titles on the market. Finally, the narrator for this book is perfect. She appears friendly and knowledgeable, and as an early educational specialist I know that's exactly what young readers gravitate towards. The book is educational and interesting, but has a fun edge that kids will love. Well worth the buy. Yet another terrific product from Nat Geo kids.

I bought several of this books for my children, they love them so much that they have now a big collection, and I love the fact that they actually read them and are learning a lot, they come with different reading levels for each child reading skills.

5 stars for seller and condition of the book. The layout and content of the book is disorganized. It seems to randomly jump from the cabin of the plain then to giant cargo planes. It's just not as good as others like Polar Bears or Dinosaurs that actually flow and make a good read for the kiddo.....and adult!

I love the series. My son loves the books on trains and trucks. Planes focuses mostly on inside of passenger jets. My son doesn't like this book as much as others.

My daughter recently started reading and this is one of her favorite books to read to me during the bed time.

Great intro to reading book with fun easy to read facts!

You can't go wrong with National Geographic books for young minds. They're loaded with interesting facts and fun to read so kids don't realize they're learning as they go.

My kids love the whole National Geographic series. Fun reads, good facts, inexpensive, great pictures, and consistently good. Highly recommended.
