A friend of ours had this book out when I went over for a playdate with my eight months old daughter and I fell in love with it (ended up ordering it during the playdate via my phone app). My husband is a helicopter pilot so I'm always on the look out or helicopter themes toys and books. This is a super cute book with rhyming sentences that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple and fun book.
My baby girl loves this book, and I love reading it to her. The illustrations are very well done. I love the gentle rhymes and the onomatopoeia (whup whup whup of the copter blades, beep beep beep of the walkie talkie). She loves it so much that it's been read, torn, and taped too many times. I actually looked it up to see if it came as a board book, and it does! Woot!
I bought this for my son. He is almost 3 years old and is obsessed with things that go. He loves this book! I couldn't find many books with a helicopter as the main character. It's a perfectly simple story with language he understands well. The helicopter is on every page, and my son also likes to find the bird that appears throughout the book. It's fun to do the sound effects with him, too! Great book! I will probably buy the other books in this series now.
My one-year-old grandson is crazy about Yellow Copter. The gentle, appealing rhymes are just right for a young child. Plus, along with Red Truck and Blue Boat, two other books in this series, he's learning the names of the colors. Children will love making the sounds included in the story. we're hoping Green Airplane is coming next!
Great companion to red truck. My son loves the simple illustrations and straightforward storyline. Sweet and simple.
Yellow Copter is a fun book to read to the Grands, lots of excitement and fun sounds.
My mom got this for my 4month old son. He's still a bit young to appreciate books yet - but this one is DARLING! The words rhyme and every page is so colorful and fun. Definitely recommend!
