How People Learned To Fly (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 2)
Read Free Books and Download eBooks

People have taken dangerous risks trying to fly. Some inventors built wings for their arms and flapped them like birds. Others tried to fly with balloons or tried to glide with the wind. This book describes the creative, fascinating, and wacky experiments that people tried before the airplane was invented. This is a Stage 2 Let's-Read-and-Find-Out, which means the book explores more challenging concepts for children in the primary grades. Let's-Read-And-Find-Out is the winner of the American Association for the Advancement of Science/Subaru Science Books & Films Prize for Outstanding Science Series. Supports the Common Core Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.

We love these books as well, my son has been reading since he was three, now he is in first grade and he loves these science books, they explain complex ideas in simple terms at their level, as a parent I highly recommend these books. He loves to read his books by himself and these books are always a perfect choice. Thank you for creating those!!

It is important for our kids to read non-fiction as well as fiction, and this book presents facts about history in an interesting format. I highly recommend.

The award-winning author has a unique way of making history fun and interesting. Buy some of her other books for the youngsters in your life, or for your local school library if you can!
