I was not familiar with the Bad Kitty stories, and ordered them because my granddaughters fancy cats. When I got this set I initially assumed they would be too advanced for my 6 year old granddaughters,but tried them out anyway. They love the stories, clearly understand them, get the jokes, are amused with the pictures, and always ask for some more "chapters" when I read to them at night. And they are learning a lot; e.g., they now understand about presidential candidates, primaries, campaigns, etc. from the Bad Kitty for president book... they even have debates about whether he will win the election,and their bets are that he will!
Bad kitty is at it again! My 7 year old son loves bad kitty, and my husband and I get a chuckle out of the books as well. Bad kitty for president is a good introduction into our political system. These books are great fun to read together.
Love love love the Bad Kitty books! I read them aloud to my 3.5 year old who thinks the books are hysterical! :) The goofy Uncle Murray character is the best. I think kids 3-10 would enjoy this series. As a teacher I love this series for the classroom too.
A friend turned me on to these books. It was the perfect thing for my 1st grader. It was a little longer and more difficult for him to read. The subject matter kept him ingaged too . He would actually ask to read the books all the time. Couldn't ask for more.
My 6 year old LOVES these books. She has read all of them several times and still says they are her favorite series. The illustrations are fun and keep the attention of beginning readers. The story is fun and silly and just an all around good time.
This series is WONDERFUL! My 7-year-old son has FINALLY gotten interested in reading, thanks to this book series! THANK YOU, Bad Kitty! :)
My daughter loves reading these books. She can be very particular with the content she chooses, because unfortunetly she dislikes reading, and yet she has already read these books several times. The books are easy to read and understand for youngsters, and are about cats which kids love.
My 8 year old daughter got the first box set last year for Christmas and has read them multiple times, so I know this one will be a huge hit too. We both love Bad Kitty books!
