I bought this for my cousin when he turned 4. He absolutely loves this book, he is now 6 and has it memorized!!! The first time we read this book, I had to read it to him 5 times before he could put it down.
We bought this book as a reward for my 3 year old dino loving son. It has quickly become his favortie book and he can recite it word for word. Besides How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight, only this book has made him respond this way. This is by far one of the best books I have come across for young children that you will enjoy reading to your child. It has great flow and fun pages that your child will want to point to while you read. I don't get bored reading it and we find new things in the pictures to talk about almost every time it comes off the shelf, which is daily. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Kudos to the writer and the artist.
I spent alot of time browsing through books on , looking for a good bedtime story for my nephew, who is almost 5 and who loves dinosaurs. I'm so glad this is the one I ordered! He stays actively engaged and attentive because of both the rhyming and the illustrations (he loves to spot the dinosaur "hiding" in strategic places throughout the book). And at the very end the book speaks right to the reader, so the reader becomes the final step in finding the dinosaur - very fun! I also love the picture of the boy and his dinosaur on the last page - a great image as you're getting tucked in to go to sleep.
Bought this book for my niece's little boy who is 3 yrs old and is obsessed with dinosaurs. She said he makes her read it every night to him. It really holds his attention. She said it is a cute little book. Actually all three of her boys enjoy it! One is going to be five and the other one will be two soon. She has a captive audience every night!
My three-year-old loves this book. It's fun to read and there is a connection between the illustrations and story. My son likes to find the missing dinosaur who hides in plain sight - he's captivated by this engaging and entertaining book. It's enjoyable to read aloud and find the dinosaur. Adorable and silly story with great artwork!
My son loves this book. We got it because he asked if we could buy him a dinosaur story book and who doesn't love a good Dr Seuss story?. He loves it I've been reading it to him every night since we got it and he always asks to read it again. It has a nice simple language and kids understand and the price was really good too.
ADORABL Dr. Seuss book. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old who loves dinosaurs. He was excited about it, but I think I love it even more than him. It is super cute and fun to read. Nice little hard cover book.
My youngest boy LOVES this book. He "rawrs" along with the pictures and is in dino mode for hours afterwards. He loves dinosaurs to begin with, so this just amplifies him more.We read this regularly and it never gets old for him. It isn't his favorite book, but he's all about it.
