I am so surprised by the other good reviews. I have read several of the other Splat books by Rob Scotton with my kids, and had ordered this thinking we would all enjoy it as we had the others. I noticed as we were reading that the illustrations were off a little. The mouse didn't quite look like himself, and I was wondering why it wasn't quite consistent with the other books. The story was completely boring and void of any of the humor or even cuteness that we are used to with the other books. No chuckling moments from the kids. None of them will be asking me to read it to them again. Skip this one for sure. Text is actually written by Catherine Hapka, illustrations by Loryn Brantz. If you can zoom in on the cover photo, you can see that it says "Based on the creation of Rob Scotton."
My daughter enjoys the Splat the Cat stories and illustrations and I appreciate how the lessons involved are presented as a natural and subtle part of the story and do not feel forced like so many children's books. Another great Splat the Cat book.
Great Fall book! My six year old has a budding love affair with Splat the Cat. This is a catchy little book that celebrates Fall.

We love splat! His adventures never fail to entertain. My daughter is 7 and we both liked this autumn-inspired splat book. It was funny and entertaining. And for $3, can't beat it! It's another great book for our collection.
Loved the story but not happy that every page wasnt separate I had to tear every page apart so I riped some of the pages. Very disappointed
My 18 month old loves this book. I cannot count the number of times we have read it. I also love that he will be able to enjoy this when he is older and read it himself. It was a big hit in our home.
Great new addition to the Splat fall series! Splat spends his day playing in the leaves and looking for the perfect pumpkin ... if he could just figure out how to get the pumpkin home! My one year old loved the stickers and enjoyed the story. It is not as long as the other Splat Halloween books, but it is still a good read for the younger crowd. There aren't many sentences to a page. Add this to your collection!
