I have never read a Pete the Cat book before this one. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I couldn't pass it up for the price. This was purchased for our son for Christmas to add to his book collection, however, I decided to read it today to see what it's about. It's an adorable little book with a good message. No matter what you do, it's more fun when you have your friends. It also shows team work as the friends want to help finish with a chore so that they are all free to play together. The book comes with stickers as well, but our son is still a little young for them.I am happy with this purchase. You can't beat the price and it was a nice and easy story to read. I would definitely recommend it to people looking to add to their children's collection!

This isn't the my buttons or cool white shoes that my children were first introduced to by Eric Litwin. The James Dean (only, he illustrated the others) books are a little bland and not as groovy as the other books by Eric Litwin.

We love Pete the Cat books but to be honest, this one just didn't do it for us. Not very cleverly written or funny in my opinion. My three year old, who loves Pete the cat, doesn't care for it either.

The kids loved this book... just like they love all Pete the Cat books. It's a little longer than I would have liked for the age that I was reading to (3 and 5)... but they did well with it. The story is a little different than most kids books so perhaps that's why the kids liked it. We have a huge collection of books and for some reason the kids like the Pete the Cat ones so we have almost all of them now. This is one that is worth buying!

This is one of the better Pete the Cat storylines. And my son LOVES robots. The stickers are really nice. The only negative is that I wish they would have put shapes on the pages for where to put the stickers. My son who is almost 5 would love that and would enjoy finding and matching the stickers. As it is, with stickers that you can just put anywhere, he just sticks them one on top of the other which makes a "stack" of stickers on one page - he doesn't really "get" how to use stickers free-form.

We are a Pete the Cat loving family and own at least ten different Pete books. This one has the usual positive sentiment without being too sappy, along with the opportunity to do your best robot voice when reading out loud. It came with a sticker sheet which was not a deal closer by any means, but the kids enjoyed them. Nice colorful illustrations throughout. Not as brilliant as I Love My White Shoes or PtC and His Four Groovy Buttons but still enjoyed by everyone and a nice addition to the Pete collection.

Pete the Cat is my 6 year old son's favorite book character, we love all of his stories. We have read this one several times since he received it on Christmas. I love that these 'bigger' ones come with stickers, I do not believe the I can read ones do. We will keep buying and reading Pete the Cat for awhile now. The artwork is great as always. I am looking into getting my son the doodle and draw Pete the Cat book for his birthday.

I like the new books by James Dean way better than the earlier ones, and so does my kid, who asked me to read Robo-Pete 3 times in a row! The book has enough text, likable drawings, unpredictable story-line (not the same old-same old 'being groovy'), there's a great message involved and in general it's just interesting enough for a kindergartner. While I'm all for 'being groovy', it was getting old for us after awhile.
