I have worked on a couple of these pages. They are cute but somewhat simplistic in terms of shading so you are on your own to make them look realistic, if that is your goal. Also, pages are two-sided. Pics show an old initial attempt and how I recently completed it.
Really nice pictures. Easy to color. Nice paper weight. I wish they weren't printed on both sides of the paper. But really enjoying it.
I took a chance and ordered several different Dover coloring books. I was concerned about not being able to see them or feel the paper for myself. I'm happy to say they are as good as many other reviewers said they are. Based on the reviews I selected books by Diane Gaspas, Ruth Soffer, Jan Sovak and Paul Kennedy. The pictures are expertly drawn and contain basic information about each picture to be colored. Excellent product for anyone who enjoys coloring.

My grandchildren love this coloring book with 30 different cat illustrations, of just about every color and 29 different breeds included, along with a short paragraph about each breed. I enjoy coloring in this book because the cats are big enough so I can practice colored pencil techniques to create texture in the fur.1.30 cat illustrations with most in standing or sitting positions, printed on heavy ,bright white paper, on front and back of each page, and drawn in both thin and thick black lines. This coloring book is great for accurately coloring in these domestic demons.
I was hoping to find illustrations of cats in different positions or action moves. The entire book is pretty much what you see on the cover - different cats posing for the camera type look. There's also too much greenery in the background, which becomes boring to color over and over. The illustrations are large, and the pages are thick so you can use crayons, colored pencils, markets or oil pastels.
My artistic 11 year old daughter was sick of the "baby" coloring books available in most stores - this total fits her need - mature subject - beautiful cats and very detailed.
I really like this coloring book because of the nice thick white pages and also so many different cat scenes with many details. My daughter really has enjoyed it.
