We got this series for our 12 year old daughter, because she loves cats. She can not keep her hands of these books! And to tell you this is our child, who disliked to read! She goes to bed, and just before I turn in, I peek into her room, only to find her reading her Warriors books with a flashlight.She loved all of the new cat characters as well as clans, introduced in this series. This is the third series we HAD to get for her, because she was bugging us, we needed to buy these for her, she was on the last pages of her last book.She also assigns the charters from the Warriors book to our family members, herself included.I hope Erin Hunter never stops writing these![...]. No, I don't get any money, but it will let me know, I am not wasting my time writing them :-)
My 11 year old daughter is in love with all things Warriors! I am so thankful for this series because it has really gotten her into reading! I love them because they are real stories with happiness, romance, jealousy, politics, as well as sadness. She laughs and she cries. Oh and she already loves CATS so this was purrfect for her!
My 11 year old granddaughter is a huge fan of the Warriors series. I've bought every collection for her and she reads them quickly. This series helped convert her from a game addict to an avid reader! She no longer brings her games when she visits, and she always has a book or two with her. I love to hear the enthusiasm in her voice when she relates the stories of the clans of cats in the Warriors series. When she isn't reading the books, she's sketching the characters. I've only read two of the books from the series, but I found them to be very creative and engaging. I fully understand why she is hooked. It has been so nice to see this change in her, and I'll gladly continue buying the books as long as Erin Hunter keeps publishing them!
My 10-year-old daughter is a HUGE Warriors fan. She has been a fan for the past two years or so. She has read every book in the series at least two or three times. She also has a number of friends who are fans as well. I like that the books are not just entertaining but she learns from them too. She tells us about different herbs you can find in the wild and what they can be used for. It is a wonderful series of books for her age group.
My daughter is obsessed with the Warriors books and these did not disappoint. She read the entire set in less than a week and was ready to move on to the next set.Great story line and the books are both challenging and still not too grown up for an almost 10 yr old to read. As a parent of a child who reads well above her age range it is hard to find a book, or book series that is safe enough for her to read but that is still challenging, so I am happy she found this series and they have many many, more books in the collection.
My grandson loves this series and he was thrilled that I bought a complete set. He had read a couple of them and only asked for the next one in the series, but I just went ahead and bought the rest of the set. They will keep him busy for part of the summer.
I read these books in middle school! I'm now a junior in college and have fallen in love all over again. This is one of the most intense stories from the entire Warriors series in my opinion, and I am eagerly awaiting the continuation!
Grandchild gift which was well received and thoroughly read. This is a great series for kids and the author keeps pumping them out so they can keep on reading.
