I suspect this book was given its title to reel in buyers actually looking for the book "Guess How Much I Love You", which is the well-known origin of the line. The phrase isn't even used in the text of this book, though a similar one is. It's still a cute young children's book, there's nothing wrong with it otherwise, but I think the title is deceptive.
I bought this book because of the title, since it is a favorite saying of my grandchild's mother. I was disappointed that the phrase was not even used in the story. And the story was not very well written. All in all, I was sorry I had spent money on this book.
I received this book along with a necklace that said I love you to the moon and back for Mother's Day. It is a super cute book and my kids enjoy me reading it to them each night. The thick durable pages will help it to withstand being passed down from my oldest my youngest.
I love this book! My daughters and I always say this to each other. It is excellently made and very sturdy. It makes a great baby shower gift, birthday gift or Christmas gift. It is a very sweet story!
I got this to give to my kids, 1 & 3. They love it so much. We read it every night before bed. We have a collection of Amelia Hepworth's books, some are more advanced for my kids, but this book is perfect!
Got this as a gift for my grandson. My daughter always tells her kids that she loves them 'to the moon and back'. So this was a perfect gift for my grandson who just turned 5. The only thing is he wanted it to be longer, so she just read it twice!
My daughter and I love this book! It's literally and figuratively something you can sink your teeth into! She's currently teething and flipping the pages and so far it has withstood her toddler terrorizing! The story is great and simple and we love reading it before bed.
I have been saying "Love you to the moon and back" to my daughter for years. She is almost 10 and loves that I still say it. I'm giving her the book as a stocking stuffier, she will be so happy to have the book as a keepsake, since she thinks it is something I only say.
