Forget the kids. You need this. I'm an adult. It's mine. I never really cared for the Grumpy Cat phenomenon, with the mugs and shirts, etc. But this book is just adorable and the story is, while unsurprising, fun. I intend to share this with adult friends, not kids.
Great Books and a great price.I have been collecting these books for my 2 year old daughter so that when the time comes I can give her a huge set of these.I remember having these books when I was little and loved reading them.
My daughter loves grumpy cat and this book did not disappoint. Very cute and to the point story with excellent illustrations. She laughs at the end of the book every time and asks why she won't race just once!
I would give this 10 stars if I could. My 3 year old asks me to read this to him over and over again. The illustrations are lovely and the story is hilariously Grumpy Cat. I would buy a whole series of Grumpy Cat books like this.
As with some other adults, I was a little surprised that 'a Little Golden Books' truly picked up Grumpy Cat and also that it is a NON-satire/sarcastic but true Small Children's Book (albeit a bit grumpy, obviously).However, I thought it was adorable just the same, as is. I love it as a GC fan, but it would be an awesome book if you have a toddler going through an obstinate phase (or one who's little friend is).
All the friends try to persuade Grumpy Cat to let loose and enjoy herself. Will all their efforts be in vain? Let's just say that Grumpy Cat has a mind of her own.Quite a cute story to read to my grandson. The artwork is adorable and the story is, well, all that is grumpy. My grandson is just old enough to appreciate having those feelings himself, so having a book to read at his own grumpy times is something that he is now enjoying.
I loved Little Golden Books as a kid & love Grumpy Cat, so this item was pretty much a NO brainer purchase for me. A simple, wonderfully illustrated story, where Grumpy espouses the oh-so-familiar memes we've come to know over the last few years, as her new friends try to coax her into playing and being happy. Treat the kid in your life or your own inner kid to this one.
I've been waiting for this book for years! I ordered this the instant I found out about it. My boys 5 and almost 2) and I love Grumpy Cat and this book didn't disappoint! Funny and perfectly illustrated. Exactly what I hoped for. This will be a favorite in our house.
