purchased for 14 yr old great grandson. I was interested so I read it before gifting the book. He and I were both impressed with Lebron's desire to represent citizenship, values and concern for others. He is a remarkable young man with enormous talent and an enormous heart
I bought this book for a student who hates reading. He finished it in a week and asked for another book to read right after! Any book that can motivate a student to read is deserving of way more than five stars.
I liked this book because it was interesting. One thing the author did well was he made the words not too small and not too big. My favorite part was when Lebron went from poor to rich. My favorite character was Lebron because he liked football in his school. I would recommend this book because it was interesting.
I love any book that gets my son excited to read. This is one that he even asked for for his birthday. It was a very easy read for him so he was able to read the whole thing in one day. Also, we both learned a lot about LeBron James. It was full of interesting facts about him, I even found myself sharing a lot of the things a learned about him with other people. If you are looking for a way to get your young son excited about reading this is a good book for that. My son tends to be more excited about sports than reading, so it is fun to find books that he is passionate about. Pictures in the book are very good, too. Very fun book.
My eight year old enjoyed it very much. He also used it as a source for a book report.
My grandson was only mildly interested in the book. He is 10 and loves basketball.
My 6 years old son loves LeBron and he is enjoying this book very much
