Who Was Abigail Adams?
Read Free Books and Download eBooks

Abigail Adams was a strong woman far ahead of her time. She urged her husband, President John Adams, to "remember the ladies" and despite having no formal education herself, she later advocated for equal education in public schools for both boys and girls. She was also the first First Lady to live in the White House! This biography tells the story of Abigail Adams and her role in America's Revolutionary War period.

My Third grade son LOVES these books! As soon as he gets one he sits down and reads the whole think in 3 hours. I love that they educational. He loves to come and tell me all the little facts he thought were cool as soon as he is done. I wish they were longer so he didn't go through them so fast! I told my husband I want to buy the whole set

I bought this book and 3 others for my granddaughter's 9th birthday. When I asked her what she would like for her birthday, she replied books - biographies and something on the Revolutionary War Era. This and the other books filled the bill.

My 8 year old daughter is doing a report on Abigail Adams for school and this book was perfect. It gave a comprehensive overview of her life at a level she could read and understand. I highly recommend this series.

This was a helpful book and an easy read. It did have phrases such as "she must've been feeling…" But then how does this author know what Abigail Adams was feeling? … Or thinking? All in all it was educational.

Great book for my daughter named after her. Very educational and a choice for her to learn about her namesake.

It was a good book. It was very interesting and informative. I think people should read this book it was nice.

I Used this book for my 2nd grade classroom project and they loved the books in this series! Great book!
